My first ever game release, hope you like it!
The Story So Far:
The ancient lands of Mysteria have been a safe place for all adventurers and tourists alike. Birds sweetly chirp, sunlight shines across the land, the grasslands are lush and green. Everything was as it should be.
Until Now.
A malevolent force has overtaken the lands, bringing with it a mighty army of pure evil. The gods have tasked you and your companion to save all of Mysteria from Medusa.

This nostalgic, retro-styled game has been lovingly crafted with a lot of care and attention to detail. With a story that was written like a fairytale, things go wrong once the small, innocent tourist town is taken over by enemies. It is now in your hands to restore peace as you destroy each of the enemies, one by one, with either your sword or your bow and arrow.
It is a shame to have to kill such cute enemies, but it is fun to do. :) There is no choice, as without killing each one, you are unable to advance to the next level. This helps make the gameplay interesting and it is a fun dynamic. Health potions are thoughtfully distributed throughout the game without making things too easy, to help guide you on your mission.
The soundtrack is very fitting, as are the Nintendo-styled sound effects. You are given two playable characters to choose between, each with their own special combat style. You can easily change mid-game with a simple keystroke.
I fully recommend this game to anyone who is considering playing it. It is a free download and tiny file size - there is no reason not to try it.:)
Awesome game! I like the slow pace that fits the music. I had some trouble finding out the controls for jumping and hitting in the beginning!
